Virginia based fine artist, Leroy Brown Jr., has sharpened his skills in painting over the last twenty-nine years. A retired Marine, Leroy maintained painting during his leisure throughout his earlier years bringing his original artwork and dream into fruition.
Leroy’s evolution into the fine arts allowed him to inspire others to pursue their passion as he was simultaneously pursuing all the while serving his country. His use of folk art through the vivid colors and movement portrays real life memories at an instant glance.
A native of Natchez, Mississippi Leroy has lived all over the southern and eastern part of the United States as well as overseas. Inspired by artists Hank Herring, Ernie Barnes, and Pablo Picasso, Leroy has high hopes and dreams to build the brand that he has already laid the ground floor for. His clear vision is to market his artwork, and to build a brand -Leroy Brown Art instilling in others young and old that following their passion is indeed important.
